Every year, our friends at IntegriChain—an informed application cloud used by suppliers to manage relationships, orders, and inventories across retailers, e-tailers, and distributors—release benchmark data on pharmaceutical channel, inventory and service level trends.

To unveil their spring 2014 findings, highlighting data through Q4 2013, IntegriChain will be hosting a free webinar:

Title: Benchmark Findings for Pharmaceutical Channel, Inventory & Service Level Trends
Date: Wednesday, May 14th, 2014
Time: 1-2pm EST

This free webinar will be led by IntegriChain Executive Vice President, Josh Halpern, and two other industry experts, Dan Kinney, IntegriChain Vice President of Customer Operations, and Shivani Patel, IntegriChain Director of Advanced Analytics.

A MESSAGE FROM INTEGRICHAIN

IntegriChain's benchmark study covers several therapeutic categories, including:
  • ADHD
  • Anti-Coagulant
  • Anti-Cholesterol
  • Anti-Depressant
  • Anti-Psychotic
  • COPD
  • Diabetes
  • HIV
  • Ophthalmology
  • Pain
In this informative and interactive webinar, the IntegriChain team will review the data and consider the macro trends in the pharmaceutical industry that are impacting manufacturer sales, channel inventories, and product availability. This includes the decided shift today towards specialty and generic therapies with less "Big Pharma" focus on retail product launches. The team will also examine the reduced appetite in the pharmacy for branded drug inventories as more and more shelf space is devoted to generic alternatives.

There is also an increase in wholesaler direct delivery to the pharmacy. Fewer chains are warehousing inventory and stores are taking direct delivery of Rx products from wholesale FDCs. As a result, stores are able to hold less on shelf inventory due to 5 day per week delivery.

With this as a backdrop for the benchmark data, the IntegriChain team will be considering:
  • Where service levels still have significant room for improvement
  • The impact of generics on pharmacy stocking trends
  • Why Rx fill concentration rates matter so much
There will also be the opportunity to ask your own questions regarding the data and our findings during the Q&A session at the conclusion of the webinar.

These benchmark results reveal a number of interesting impacts on manufacturer sales, channel inventories, and product availability. Some past approaches may no longer apply given the evolution that the channel is currently experiencing, and there are likely areas for significant improvement in the way you get your products into the hands of patients. All participants will also have access to an electronic version of the benchmark study.

Be sure to join us on Wednesday, May 14th from 1pm—2pm EST for our Free Webinar: Benchmark Findings for Pharmaceutical Channel, Inventory & Service Level Trends.
